The Department of Education (DoE) is calling for tender submissions for the design and construction of the staff room, as well as certain surrounding classrooms within the block, at Mount Gravatt State High School, located at 42 Loreburn St, Mount Gravatt QLD 4122, as a part of the Prioritised Nominated Projects (PNP) program.
The refurbishment will consist of a full refurbishment of the existing staff room, as well as surrounding classrooms. The building is located around the centre of the school, with quite limited access and minimal external working space. All works are to be completed by January 2026.
Tender submissions will be accepted from contractors that meet the following requirements:
- Appropriate QBCC Builders licences to undertake the entire scope of works
- Professional Indemnity Insurance to the value of $ 1,000,000.00
- QBCC Licensing and Professional Indemnity Insurance
It is anticipated that a minimum of a QBCC (Low Rise) builders’ licence will be required for this project. Contractors are required to hold Professional Indemnity Insurance in accordance with the contract.
