The City of Tea Tree Gully invites tenders for the provision of hardcourt pavement reconstruction works at the Modbury Tennis Club.
The Modbury Tennis Club is located within Ridgehaven Reserve, accessible via Smart Road, Ridgehaven. The facility includes multiple acrylic coated courts enclosed by chain mesh fencing, with adjoining open space, car parking and shared-use paths.
This Request for Tender (RFT) is for the provision of hardcourt pavement reconstruction works, including demolition of existing pavement, base preparation, supply and installation of new pavement layers, surfacing works, and associated site reinstatement.
The reconstruction of these tennis courts will be in accordance with the design drawings and technical specifications prepared by Wallbridge Gilbert Aztec (WGA).
Key activities:
- Demolition and removal of existing pavement.
- Preparation of base layers and construction of new pavement to WGA specifications.
- Installation of new playing surfaces, including asphalt and acrylic surfacing.
- Installation or reinstatement of drainage, kerbing, and edge restraints.
- Construction of a new fence separating the northern and southern courts.
- Supply and installation of sporting fixtures and fittings.
- Ongoing coordination with Council representatives and stakeholders.
- Site reinstatement, clean-up, and provision of as-constructed information.
