Project goals
This Request for Tender seeks to appoint suitably qualified firms to conduct limited assurance services over climate related financial disclosures made by the entities listed below on behalf of the Auditor-General for NSW (Auditor-General).
Auditees:
- Landcom
- Forestry Corporation of NSW
- Transport for NSW, including:
-Sydney Metro
-Sydney Trains
- Hunter Water Corporation
- Water NSW
The successful firms will be appointed as Audit Service Providers for an initial period of one year, starting with the assurance services over climate related financial disclosures made for the financial year ending 30 June 2026. The arrangement will provide for an option to extend for the 30 June 2027 and 30 June 2028 financial years, subject to the Auditor-General's sole discretion.
Scope
The Audit Office seeks responses from firms interested in conducting limited assurance engagements on behalf of the Auditor-General for NSW. Refer to the Request for Tender document attached for a list of the auditees and the detailed requirements for the assurance services.

2. Third party information security self-assessment
Interested firms will need to complete a third party information security self-assessment. The Audit Office may waive this requirement if the firm has completed this assessment in the last 12 months. Firms should send through the contact details of the person(s) nominated to complete this assessment to procurement@audit.nsw.gov.au
