Concept and Detailed Design for the Aurukun Water Supply Improvement Project (AWSIP) - WTP

The concept and detailed design of the Aurukun Water Supply Improvement (AWSIP) - Water Treatment Plant (WTP) is required to ensure a fit for purpose long term solution for water infrastructure to meet current and future water quality standards and water demand for the Aurukun Shire Council community.

The current infrastructure and equipment are aged and in poor condition. The WTP has insufficient treatment barriers to meet health-based targets This has resulted in insufficient monitoring of water quality and inconsistent water quality.

This is a valuable project delivering concept and detailed design engineering services for the delivery of a water treatment plant upgrade to an indigenous Local Government of QLD.
