Naracoorte Lucindale Council invites tenders from Tenderers for the Installation of an Outdoor Dining – Pergola at the Naracoorte Swimming Lake, Naracoorte.
Scope:
As part of the upgrade to Naracoorte Swimming Lake, it is proposed to construct 3 pergola structures, a pitched open gable pergola to the centre with flat paraphet pergola either side. Pergolas will be all steel construction with pillars full height at each supporting post, constructed in local “Dressed Face” limestone. The eastern pergola will have a low wall for seating, constructed from the same local stone capped with matching paving.
The area will be paved and edged with lawn levels adjusted.
Building Stages
Stage One – Construct and demolish the canteen area
Enclose the Breeze Way between the existing canteen and change rooms. Demolish interior walls and fit out existing canteen to create a larger more serviceable canteen/kiosk space.
Stage Two – Construction of Central Pitched Roof Open Gable Pergola Construct a steel fabricated open pitched roof pergola centrally on the building location. Roof cladding in ‘Twin Wall” polycarbonate sheeting.
Please note:
- Change rooms entry ramps to be replicated in selected paving.
- Existing services to be located for retention or relocation as directed.
- Tile murals to be protected and retained.
- Consult asbestos register prior to works.
- Relocation of sprinkler system and reinstall upon completion of the project (in consultation with Council staff)
Stage Three – Enclose Breeze Way / Renovate Kiosk
- Construct timber walls including exterior doorways as shown. Enclosing the breeze way. Relocate the wall mount RCAC to the roof above, terminate and remove exposed plumbing services in preparation for demolition of the wall.
- Demolish walls as shown.
- Remove existing cabinetry and fittings for re-location.
- Remove existing ceiling.
- Install new ceiling structure, fit new ceilings and down lights as shown.
- Install cabinets and range hood including new plumbing and electrical services as required.
- Make good and paint to selection.
