Tender Description
The project objective is to provide the best value playing surface and surrounds in accordance with relevant Australian Standards and Football Australia and with minimal environmental and stakeholder impact.
Specific objectives include:
- Project Completion on (or) before the end of 28th March 2026
- Designed in accordance with applicable Australian Standards and Football Australia Guidelines
- Provide detailed Bill of quantities for tender review
- To minimise environmental impact during construction, including impacts on the river channel and aquatic habitat, water quality and nuisance (noise, dust, vibration) to nearby properties.
Scope of Works
The redevelopment of Riverside Olympic 2 pitch and surrounds is to include the re- leveling of the playing surface, installing new drainage systems, Sand slitting, irrigation, the establishment of a 250mm Sand mattress, reseeding, perimeter fencing, Interchange bench/shelter, and hardstand area.
The scope of work shall include the provision of all material, plant, labour and services for the following components of this Contract.
- Design and construction of the new pitch surface to include a 250 mm sand layer
- Sub grade Fill requirements
- Drainage
- Irrigation
- Hardstand Area
- Interchange boxes
- Perimeter fencing
- Training Area
- Removal & Disposal of the existing surface,
- Filling site to desired new height
- 12-week establishment period
- Detailed site survey by Contractor
