HealthShare NSW invites tenderers to submit tender bids for supply of linen items and solution to end-of-life management of linen items. This aligns with the previous market notice P-RFT-2009672.

The key project goals are:

• Provide equitable, high-quality linen products that meet the professional and functional needs of patients across NSW Health facilities
• Ensure seamless access to linen items and support operational efficiency in healthcare settings
• Promote sustainability in linen production and supply, encourage innovation in textile solutions, and deliver value for money through strategic sourcing

Scope

The scope of this Request for Tender (RFT) covers two key service components:

Part I: Supply of linen products

The Principal seeks suppliers capable of providing linen products across defined product groups (e.g. sheets, blankets, terry items etc.)

Part II: End-of-Life management of condemned linen items

This covers the management, collection, and environmentally responsible disposal of condemned linen items across NSW Health Linen sites. NSW Health currently generates approximately 321,000 kilograms of condemned linen annually, requiring sustainable and traceable end-of-life solutions.

You are invited to attend an online Industry Briefing Session scheduled for Friday, 19th September 2025 from 10 am to 11 am.

To confirm your attendance, please email at Bhumika.Patel@health.nsw.gov.au, by close of business Wednesday, 17th September 2025. This will ensure you receive the formal invitation and session details. The session will be held virtually through MS Teams.

Invitation to Sample Review Open Day:

HealthShare NSW would like to invite the prospective tenderers to inspect the samples for material and manufacturing details on following days:

• Option 1: Monday, 22nd September 2025
• Option 2: Wednesday, 24th September 2025

Each prospective tenderer will be allocated an hour between 8:00am and 2:30pm based on the interest received.

Interested tenderers are requested to email Bhumika.Patel@health.nsw.gov.au to register their interest in attending the open house inspection by close of business on 19 September 2025.
