The ODPP is looking to engage external legal education designers to assist the ODPP to finalise and support the successful rollout of the Role-Mapped Training Program.

Project goals

The ODPP is looking to engage external legal education designers to assist the ODPP to finalise and support the successful rollout of the Role-Mapped Training Program. The external educational designers will work collaboratively with the ODPP’s Professional Development Lawyers, Learning & Development team and key stakeholders.

Scope

1. Outcome Architecture Development – review learning outcomes for each module and unit, and redraft where required.

2. Active-practice redesign:

a) Identify opportunities to increase experiential learning (such as mock hearings, interactive role plays, guided debriefs and scenario based face to face learning).

b) Targeted assistance in creating or uplifting key units according to best practice adult learning principles. This includes the design and production of educational content and learning materials leveraging Microsoft 365 applications, Adobe Creative Suite, Articulate e-learning or other applications.

c) Advise on integrating existing programs

d) Design a training delivery timetable (schedule for delivering instructor led training).

3. Whilst recognising that the ODPP has a suite of wellbeing and diversity initiatives, identify opportunities to integrate self-reflection and wellbeing skills throughout the programs.

4. Collaborate with ODPP Learning and Development to integrate and configure the learning content into the Success Factors Learning Management System.

5. Assist in identifying training content that could be delivered by external providers, particularly in the legal support roles.

6. Support pilot testing and phased rollout of training programs including assisting with evaluation and feedback mechanisms.
