Tender Description
The Kāpiti Coast District is facing future interment capacity restraints, with the Waikanae Cemetery likely to reach full capacity by 2030. To ensure adequate interment capacity across the district, for the next 50 years, additional land must be identified and acquired for the purpose of a new district wide cemetery.
The Council is seeking to engage a suitably qualified and experienced contractor to undertake a comprehensive district-wide programme of site identification, assessment and selection, to identify and rank suitable sites.
