Tender Description
Griffith City Council is calling for tenders from suitably qualified suppliers for the Sealing and Resealing of State, Regional, Urban and Rural roads within the Griffith Local Government Area.
Scope of the Contract:
This contract is for Sprayed Bituminous Surfacing in the Griffith City Council LGA. The scope of works to be carried out under this contract includes but is not limited to:
• Implementation and maintenance of a WH & S, Environmental and Quality System
• Traffic Control
• Sprayed bituminous surfacing including sweeping, supply of aggregates, binder/s, cutter and adhesive agents and incorporation of additives into binder and spraying of incorporated binder, load haul, spread and incorporation of aggregates into binder to provide sealed surface.
• Recovery /spotting of line marking and temporary reflective pavement markers
The Contractor undertakes to provide appropriate plant/vehicles fit to perform the above-mentioned works and to use trained and suitably qualified staff to carry out the above works. The Works and the extent of work to be carried out shall be all as set out and/or described in the Contract specification.
