Tender Description

REANNZ is releasing this RFP to procure replacement international backup network capacity. The key objective is to secure and deploy a robust, reliable backup connection between New Zealand and Sydney.

The proposed outcomes of this procurement are:

  • Delivery of international backup capacity between existing REANNZ routers in New Zealand and Sydney.
  • A cost-effective solution that improves on the current supply arrangement while maintaining sufficient capacity to ensure a high-quality user experience for our members.
  • Equivalent or improved levels of fault resilience compared to the existing solution.
