Tender Description
The vendor will be required to design a replacement vessel based on the supplied drawings and survey information that Yarwun will supply in the future based on Laser Scan. Please see scope of work & drawings available for download.
1. Preferred to be manufactured in accordance with latest revision of ASME BPVC
2. If manufacturing to ASME BPVC, manufacturer shall hold a valid ASME U stamp
3. Design & manufacturing to an alternative standard may be permissible after discussion with RT Yarwun.
4. Shall complete design and third party design verification of new vessel
5. Shall complete “Design registration” for the vessel with the relevant state authority in Australia. Refer to the following website for further details; https://www.worksafe.qld.gov.au/licensing-and-registrations/plant-design-registration
6. Shall include provision for design and manufacture of transport frame to allow for sea shipping
7. Shall include provision for corrosion protection suitable for sea transport
8. Revised design shall be same as existing as much as is practical to allow replacement of existing vessel in-situ
9. Yarwun will complete survey / laser scan of existing vessel to confirm key dimensions (nozzle, supports etc)
10. Supplier to include allowance for survey of key dimensions after fabrication (nozzles, supports etc) to ensure replacement drum will be dimensionally suitable
11. Manufacture shall include all furniture and attachments shown on drawings; including but not limited to
a. Water distribution header
b. Downcomer vortex breakers
c. ACS Separator
d. Manhole covers / plugs
12. All nozzles welds shall have 100% volumetric NDT conducted in addition to any requirements specified in the manufacturing standard.
