This tender opportunity relates to P-RFT-200953. Destination NSW is procuring for Traffic Management services for the VIVID Sydney festival.

Project goals

Destination NSW launched the Visitor Economy Strategy 2035 on 27 August 2025 (VES). The VES sets targets including a target of $91 billion in visitor expenditure by 2035, 8.5 million aviation seats, 40,400 new accommodation rooms statewide and 150,000 new jobs across the visitor economy.

One of the core strategic pillars of the VES is to Drive Growth Through Events and a key deliverable action under that pillar is to deliver a year-round events calendar including the marquee winter event of Vivid Sydney. This procurement is integral to the delivery of the Vivid Sydney event.

Scope

This procurement is for services for the traffic, transport and pedestrian management for Vivid Sydney. Extensive road closures are required for each night of the festival depending on the level of operations.
