The Macao Paper Wasp (MPW) is a large social wasp that has become established on the Cocos (Keeling) Islands.
The Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development seeks to engage the services of a registered pest management business to reduce the spread of the MPW on the Cocos (Keeling) Islands and minimise the risk of MPW invading mainland Australia.
