Auckland One Rail

Auckland One Rail (AOR) is seeking Expressions of Interest (EOI) from suitably qualified suppliers to maintain the Locally Operated Points System (LOPS) at Wiri EMU Depot.

Suppliers are invited to demonstrate their capability, relevant experience, and capacity to deliver the LOPS, including evidence of previous successful maintenance, asset management, and support development and initiatives.

This EOI is the first stage of the procurement process and may lead to a subsequent Request for Tender (RFT) for shortlisted participants.

SCOPE OF SERVICE

The following components are required in the maintenance of LOPS:

• Provide and maintain licenses for Tracsis – AOR’s preferred software for LOPS

• Conducting all maintenance (preventative and reactive) for LOPS, including but not limited to:

• Inspections
• Service treatments
• Visual and safety checks
• Repairs
• Lubrication of switches and other assets
• Rust treatment of various components

• Conducting annual asset condition surveys which includes using an approved asset rating system, performing a life cycle assessment, and maintaining a comprehensive asset register.

• Spare part management of stock already located on site for the LOPS system

• Developing and recommending a CAPEX plan, to be updated and provided annually, up to the year 2030 (Until otherwise advised).

A Site visit will be arranged for tenderers which will be limited to a maximum of two employees from each company due to Wiri EMU Depot being a functioning depot during business hours.

Full specifications of scope of work will be disclosed at the moment of Tender Process Release. Dates and details of visits will be disclosed at the moment of Tender Process Release.

Note: AOR does not sign contracts from other parties. The supplier contract will be provided by AOR and negotiated accordingly.
