Integrated Delivery Model - Pavement and Surfacing Design Services
Tender ID: 593549
Tender Details
Tender Description
NZTA is introducing a new model to support the delivery of Maintenance & Operations, known as the Integrated Delivery Model (IDM). The IDM is envisaged to give NZTA more control over activities taking place on the state highway network, while driving a step-change in delivery to enable NZTA to meet the targets set out in the Government Priority Statement (GPS).
Services that were previously delivered via the Network Outcomes Contracts (NOC) will now be the responsibility of NZTA.
This procurement is the first tranche of professional services required and relates to the provision of pavement and surfacing design services to support NZTA’s maintenance and renewal programme across the following 17 network areas:
- Northland
- West Waikato
- Central Waikato
- East Waikato
- Bay of Plenty
- Tairawhiti
- Hawkes Bay
- Manawatu-Whanganui
- Taranaki
- Marlborough
- Nelson Tasman
- West Coast
- North Canterbury
- South Canterbury
- Central Otago
- Coastal Otago
- Southland (includes Milford).
We are looking to contract with 1-2 suppliers per network area to deliver pavement design services and/or surfacing design services. Tenderers can select multiple network areas and services to deliver.
Successful tenders will be able to demonstrate with evidence that they have experience in delivering roading pavement and/or surfacing design services with recent examples, they have qualified and experienced key personnel to deliver who also understand the local environment and conditions, and have a sound methodology that demonstrates their approach to planning, resource allocation, quality assurance, and any risks are mitigated appropriately.
We are not seeking suppliers that will be engaged by NZTA under the Integrated Delivery Contracts.
