Expressions of Interest - Disposal of Property - Garden Sheds

Shire of Derby/West Kimberley is seeking expressions of interest for the safe dismantle and removal of two garden sheds located in Fitzroy Crossing.

Submissions are welcomed from individuals, community groups/organisations and businesses who, if selected, will acquire the sheds once removed at no cost. While not a strict requirement, submissions are encouraged where usage of the sheds provide a positive community benefit.

Eligibility and Requirements

To be considered, you must:

• Be a local Not-For-Profit, Community Group or Charitable organisation.
• Provide details of the proposed future use and location of the sheds.
• Be able to safely and completely dismantle the garden sheds.
• Have the necessary tools and transportation to remove all shed components from the property.
• Be available to complete the removal within a mutually agreed-upon timeframe.
• Agree to leave the site clean and free of any debris related to the shed.
• Agree to provide photographic proof of completion determined to be satisfactory by the Shire.

Please note, these sheds are offered in an "as-is, where-is" arrangement. The Shire is unable to provide assistance with the removal process. Upon satisfactory completion, the Shire releases ownership of the sheds.

HOW TO SUBMIT:

Expressions of Interest should be marked ‘EOI – Disposal of Property - Garden Sheds’ and addressed to the Chief Executive Officer, Tamara Clarkson, and emailed to sdwk@sdwk.wa.gov.au.

The submission closing date is Friday, 12 September 2025, 4pm
