The City’s investment and economic development entity, Invest Gold Coast Pty Ltd is leading the transaction process to secure a private sector partner to deliver the Gold Coast Arena on behalf of the City of Gold Coast.
We are seeking Expressions of Interest (EOIs) from qualified and experienced entities to register for and participate in the opportunity to design, build, finance, operate, and maintain the proposed Gold Coast Arena, to be located at Carey Park, Southport, Queensland, Australia.
EOI will run until late 2025 followed by an RFP in early 2026, after which a preferred proponent will be appointed in mid-2026.
The Gold Coast Arena project is a strategic initiative aimed at delivering a world-class multi-purpose venue to support the region’s growing demand for sports, entertainment, and cultural events.
The Arena is expected to become a key asset in the city’s infrastructure and tourism offering and is a confirmed venue for the Brisbane 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
