Scope of Work:

Rio Tinto Iron Ore (RTIO) is exploring innovative ways of managing water including dewatering through Horizontal Directional Drilling (HDD). Optimisation of this work is crucial to enable future success and a lower environmental footprint.

RTIO is seeking expressions of interest from suitably qualified and experienced consultants to develop high-level drill designs for HDD dewatering wells at two separate RTIO Pilbara operations. Consultants must be able to complete the engineering design required for the delivery of these dewatering wells which shall include bore path geometry, casing and screen requirements, downhole pumping configuration, drilling methodology and rig suite requirements and risk assessments.

As this is an Expression of Interest (EOI) only, the specifics of the package of work relating to breadth of scope, location and timing may be subject to change. If successful, suppliers will be notified of any changes prior to award.

Your EOI response may be referenced or re-used in the next six months if a similar scope of work is required by Rio Tinto.
