ROI for Main Contractor for Epsom House Shower Block and Accessible Toilet Upgrade

Epsom Girls Grammar School intends to upgrade the existing shower block and accessible bathroom facilities at Epsom House, the school’s boarding accommodation. The project involves refurbishing the current toilet and shower facilities and converting these spaces into a fully compliant accessible shower and toilet facility.

The construction must meet all relevant building codes, accessibility standards, and the Ministry of Education’s design requirements. An asbestos and timber condition survey are currently being undertaken to confirm the presence of asbestos-containing materials (ACM) and any rotten timber framing, both of which are suspected within the existing structure.

The successful delivery of this project will require quality workmanship, full compliance, and timely completion, as the upgraded facility must be fully operational before the arrival of new boarding students in 2026.
