Request for Proposal Retail Outlet Shop 2, Lincoln Building, Macquarie University

Macquarie University is seeking Requests for Proposals RFP for the operation of a retail outlet located within the Central Courtyard Precinct, specifically Shop L02 of the Lincoln Building at 16 Wally's Walk, Macquarie Park.

The retail outlet has the following in situ:

• Front of House Counter
• Seating for 10 PAX
• Storage Room
• Kitchen Exhaust
• Gas connection
• Stainless steel sink
• Stainless steel benches

The Lincoln Building is centrally located within the University grounds and forms part of the vibrant Central Courtyard Precinct. Macquarie University has a student population of approximately 40,000 and a staff community of 3,500, providing a substantial customer base for retail operators.

The Central Courtyard Precinct currently features a diverse mix of food and beverage outlets. These include six retailers within the Lincoln Building and twelve within the Central Courtyard Building.

Note to Respondents

The University is not seeking additional cafe operators, as the current number of cafes on Campus is sufficient to meet the needs of students and staff. Instead, the University is looking for operators who can provide a differentiated food offering that complements the existing retail outlets.
