Project goals

Corridor protection and planning services are required to ensure no inappropriate or incompatible development or activity occurs within the Sydney Metro network, including the Sydney Metro Northwest, City and Southwest, Metro West and Western Sydney Airport corridors.

Scope

The Service Provider will be responsible for providing Corridor Protection and Planning Services to the Principal in respect of the Sydney Metro network, including the Deliverables described in section 2.7 of the attached Services brief.

The Services shall include but are not limited to the following;

Corridor Protection: manage the assessment including technical inputs, of referred Development Applications and other activities if required, within the metro corridors and station sites;

Interface Agreements/Deeds: where appropriate, provide inputs to the development of interface Deeds to ensure Metro infrastructure is protected; and

Post-Development Application Assessment: manage the assessment including technical inputs, of referred Development Applications for post consent compliance to ensure consent and concurrence conditions are complied with.

Opportunity requirements

1. Minimum Requirements

Tenderers must meet the following minimum requirements:

Successfully undertaken planning services for development applications for infrastructure projects and large scale developments within the last 7 years that demonstrates their capability, capacity and experience to undertake the Services

Demonstrate the Key Person (Team Lead) has;

•  A tertiary degree level qualification in a relevant discipline from a recognised tertiary institution or equivalent industry experience; and
•  A minimum 10 years’ demonstrated experience in delivering/providing planning services for large scale development applications and projects.

2. Evaluation Criteria

Tender responses will be assessed on the following evaluation criteria:

1. Tenderer: relevant experience, capacity, and capability as an organisation;
2. Tenderer’s Team: relevant expertise and experience, structure, and availability;
3. Scope appreciation and proposed methodology; and
4. Price
