Bush Regeneration & Land Management

Hunter Water owns and maintains large tracts of land throughout its area of operations. Managing riparian areas, biosecurity, erosion, litter and illegal dumping and revegetation of disturbed areas are typical and common services. A broad range of bush regeneration and land management activities are not currently covered by existing grounds maintenance contracts.

The objective of this RFT is to develop a Bush Regeneration and Land Management Panel to facilitate the effective response to the wide range of land management tasks that arise as part of normal operations and for periodic land rehabilitation and restoration activities.

Work required under the panel contract would include a range of bush regeneration, vegetation management, fire and fauna management and protection activities.

Actions would arise from both planned works, such as long-term weed management programs, and re-active (unplanned) works such as site restoration following civil works undertaken to rectify underground asset failures.

Works to be delivered under the Land Management and Bush Regeneration Panel Contract will be arranged into four separable portions:

•  Panel B - Land and Vegetation Management
•  Panel C - Fauna Management
•  Panel D - Fire Management
