Australian Rail Track Corporation (ARTC) is seeking tenders from competent contractors to provide materials and services to undertake the CAL26 Power and Communications Upgrades.

Scope Overview

The scope of works (the “Works”) includes the Project Management, Design Management, Procurement, Manufacture, Construction, Installation, Testing, Commissioning, Certification and handover including all Safeworking required and supply of all materials, tools and labour for the Signalling Power Supply and Communication upgrade works as listed below for the Hunter Valley Network

Baerami Power Supply and Communication Upgrades

(a) Power arrangement upgrades to remove the 240V from the Signalling location and segregated into a separate enclosure near incoming power pole with 240V to 120V isolation transformer.

(b) Upgrade existing Motor Generator with Kenshaw Motor Generator with alarm monitoring.

(c) Upgrade of UPS.

(d) Signalling Power Supply upgrades.

(e) Vital Communication Link upgrade from OSD modem to Westermo managed switches at BI3 and BI10 locations.

Coggan Creek Power Supply and Communication Upgrades

(a) Upgrade existing Listor type internal generator to external mounted Motor Generator with alarm monitoring.

(b) Upgrade of UPS.

(c) Signalling Power Supply upgrades.

(d) Lights and Power Supply upgrades at Private Rd Level Crossing.

(e) Vital Wireless Communication Link upgrade from Tranzeo to Westermo RT-320 at CK3 and CK10 locations.

Wollar Power Supply and Communication Upgrades

(a) Power arrangement upgrades to remove the 240V from the Signalling location and segregated into a separate enclosure near incoming power pole with 240V to 120V isolation transformer.

(b) Upgrade existing Motor Generator with Kenshaw Motor Generator with alarm monitoring.

(c) Upgrade of UPS.

(d) Signalling Power Supply upgrades.

(e) Lights and Power Supply upgrades at Mogo Road Level Crossing

(f) Vital Communication Link upgrade from OSD modem to Westermo managed switches at WR3 and WR10 locations

(g) Vital Wireless Communication Link upgrade from Tranzeo to Westermo RT-320 at WR10 and WR14 locations.

Watermark Power Supply and Communication Upgrades

(a) Relocation of 415V power supply equipment from WK10 SER to WK10P location.

(b) Upgrade existing Deep Sea Controller.

(c) Upgrade of UPS.

(d) Signalling Power Supply upgrades.

(e) Vital Communication Link upgrade from Ruggedcomm RS400 modem to Westermo managed switches at WK3 and WK10 locations.

(f) Vital Wireless Communication Link upgrade from Tranzeo to Westermo RT-320 at WK3 and WK3 Distant locations.

All works shall be undertaken in accordance with ARTC Standards, Australian Standards, Guidelines, Network Rules & Regulations, Policies and Procedures.
