About this opportunity:

WA Primary Health Alliance, with support from the Department of Health, Disability and Ageing, is seeking accredited RACGP general practices to deliver after hours services in priority locations across Western Australia.

Country WA PHN Priority SA3 Locations:

• Bunbury
• Albany
• Kimberley
• Wheatbelt
• Mid West
• Manjimup
• Augusta/Margaret River/Busselton
• Goldfields
• East Pilbara
• Esperance
• Gascoyne
• West Pilbara

The initiative will utilise existing facilities and offer routine GP appointments during after hours, covering services such as diagnosis, treatment, screenings, vaccinations, mental health support, family planning, referrals, chronic disease care, and non-urgent illness management.

Successful providers will extend current hours by a minimum of two hours per proposed day per week during the after hours period (Fridays after 6pm, Saturdays after 12pm and Sundays) with qualified staff including a registered GP, nurse and reception staff to deliver face-to-face and Telehealth services as appropriate.

Anticipated timeframe:

At the time of issuing, WAPHA anticipates the following timeframe for the process.

• Request opened to market: 21 August 2025 – 2pm AWST
• Tender briefing: 22 August 2025 – 12pm AWST
• Close date for questions: 16 September 2025 – Close of Business
• Close date for Submissions: 25 September 2025 – 4pm AWST
• Estimated contract award: 28 October 2025
