We’re looking for enthusiastic individuals to host workshops for children as part of our Diwali celebrations at Strathfield Library.

Workshop Opportunities:

We are inviting expressions of interest for the following cultural art workshops:

• Rangoli Art – Teach community members to create colourful traditional floor designs.
• Henna (Mehndi) Art – Share safe and simple henna designs.
• Diya Making – Guide community members in painting or decorating traditional Diwali lamps.
• Any inspiring creative art related to Diwali.

Dates: Mid October 2025

Duration: 3pm - 5pm

Venue: Strathfield Library

We’re looking for:

• Local community members or artists with experience in any of the above activities.
• Friendly, patient individuals comfortable working with children and other community members.
• A passion for sharing culture and creativity with others.

What we offer:

• All materials provided or reimbursed.
• Help with setup and coordination.
• A certificate of appreciation and recognition.
• A chance to celebrate and showcase Indian traditions in a welcoming community space.
