Tender Description

Main Works - Mossman River Intake System

The Mossman River Intake System project works includes the design, procurement and supply of all equipment materials, construction and commissioning of an integrated intake raw water river intake, pumps and transfer pipelines and pretreatment facility as described in the Preliminary Design. Primary elements of the Work are:

  • Detailed design of infrastructure, processes and associated system controls.
  • Construction of submerged gallery intake, and associated Works within waterway, inclusive of temporary and reinstatement works
  • Pipeline supply and installation
  • Pump supply and installation
  • Pre-Treatment facility, including the design, supply and installation of proprietary and/or packaged units
  • Electrical works.
  • Instrumentation and control systems, including SCADA
  • Inspection, testing and commissioning.
  • Maintenance of works through defects liability period.
