NSW Seniors and Companion Cards Operations, Print Management, Warehousing and Distribution Services

NSW Seniors Card and NSW Companion Card programs require services to undertake print management, warehousing and distribution services to assist with operational and fulfilment work.

Project goals

NSW Seniors Card and NSW Companion Card programs require the following key deliverables:

• New member pack fulfilment and delivery
• Replacement card pack fulfilment and delivery
• Management of new member and replacement pack stock and printing
• Management of weekly new member data
• Source and negotiate supplier quotes· Manage relationship and expectations of print and production suppliers
• Provide ad hoc printing, print production, warehousing, distribution and fulfilment services
• Provide regular stock updates and reporting
• Provision of dedicated daily point of contact

Scope

The NSW Card Operations unit within the Department of Communities and Justice (Department) requires the services of an external organisation to undertake print management, warehousing and distribution services to assist with operational and fulfilment work for both the NSW Seniors Card and NSW Companion Card programs.

Print management, warehousing and distribution services are critical to meeting operational and service commitments to Seniors Card members, Companion Card holders and business partners.

The successful print provider must be able to manage the NSW Card Operations daily fulfilment operations, annual projects and ad-hoc work. The NSW Seniors Card program has over 1.9 million members, with around 6,000 – 7,000 new members per month joining the program.

Every month NSW Seniors Card receives an average of 1600 requests from members for replacement cards due to their previous card being lost, stolen or broken. The NSW Companion Card program has over 50,000 cardholders, with between 250 - 350 new cards and 400 – 500 replacement cards issued each month.
