Mount Barker District Council (“Council”) proposes to have in place a cleaning and preventative maintenance regime to ensure that the solar panels of the listed buildings are clean and working at maximum efficiency and roofing and gutters of the listed buildings are in good condition and do not present potential risk of flooding to building infrastructure.

This RFT is being issued as two (2) separate works packages, with Contractors invited to tender on each works package that they can provide in accordance with this RFT specification.

The separate Works Packages may be awarded together to one (1) Contractor or separately to two (2) Contractors.

Works Packages:

• Works Package A – Gutter Cleaning, Inspections and Minor Maintenance

• Works Package B – Solar Panel Cleaning

Council will enter into a Contract for Services with the successful tenderer(s) for a period of three (3) years, with the option to extend for a further period of two (2) years in one (1) year increments, subject to satisfactory performance.
