Tender Description

The scope of works for the Jindabyne SPS6 project includes, but is not limited to:

Management Plans and Compliance Documentation:

  • Provision of all required documentation for Work Health and Safety (WHS), Quality Assurance (QA), and Environmental compliance in accordance with applicable standards and project requirements.
  • Development and implementation of a project-specific Traffic Management Plan (TMP).

Site Preparation:

  • Undertake all required site preparation activities, including clearing, grubbing, and the stripping and stockpiling of topsoil in accordance with environmental management protocols.
  • Carry out all necessary earthworks, including cut and fill operations, subgrade preparation, and site regrading to establish design levels and ensure a stable foundation for construction activities.

Construction of New Sewerage Pump Station (SPS6):

  •  Installation of gravity sewer and sewer rising main connection points to service infrastructure.
  • Construction of a new emergency storage tank and associated valve pit.
  • Installation of all associated pipework, fittings, and pumping equipment necessary for the operation of SPS6.
  •  Coordination with the Snowy Monaro Regional Council (SMRC) to manage all new sewer connections and associated service interface requirements.

 Electrical Works:

  •  Supply and installation of all electrical systems including switchboards, main connections, and telemetry/control systems required for pump station operation.

Pavement Works:

  • Construction of new asphaltic pavements on Road 1 and Road 2 as per the design drawings and specifications.
  • Construction of Type 3 pavement on Road 3, including regrading of the area to achieve free-draining surfaces. This includes placement of DGB20 gravel only in areas requiring surface correction to address undulations and water ponding — full coverage with DGB20 is not required.

Landscape Reinstatement:

  •  Reinstatement of all areas disturbed by construction activities, including topsoiling, seeding, and landscaping in accordance with environmental and landscape requirements.

Decommissioning and Demolition:

  • Decommissioning and removal of existing infrastructure no longer required, including the demolition and disposal of existing box culverts and any redundant services associated with the old pump station.
