The City of Mandurah is calling for expressions of interest from experienced event managers to plan, program and deliver a large-scale activation on the Western Foreshore during the Channel 7 Mandurah Crab Fest 2026.

Crab Fest is Western Australia’s largest free regional event, attracting more than 100,000 people each year with live music, family entertainment, food experiences, fireworks and cultural activities. The Western Foreshore offers 12,000 square metres of open space, direct waterfront access, and popular attractions such as the Koolaanga Waabiny Playground and Mandurah Skate Park, making it an ideal setting for a major activation.

The successful proposal will bring something unique and exciting to the foreshore, helping to showcase Mandurah as a vibrant coastal city and a must-visit destination. Proposals should reflect the aspirations outlined in the City’s Festivals and Events Strategy, which focus on enhancing Mandurah’s regional profile, fostering community pride and delivering long-term economic impact for local businesses and tourism.

The City will provide sponsorship support to the chosen event, which may include financial and in-kind assistance, with details to be negotiated.

Expressions of Interest close at 5pm on Monday, 8 September 2025. Late submissions will not be accepted.
