The Australian War Memorial (‘the Memorial’) is issuing this RFT to identify the Tenderer best qualified for the provision of Security Services (‘Requirement’).

Further details of the Requirement are set out in Schedule 1—Statement of Requirement.

Requirement

In summary, the Memorial is seeking the provision of:

a. Fixed price component encompassing:

(i) Mobile patrols of the Customer’s Mitchell facility

(ii) After-hours control room monitoring and site patrols of the Customer’s Campbell facility

(iii) Business-hours support staff performing various tasks alongside the in-house security team

b. Variable price component encompassing:

(i) Provision of support staff as required performing various tasks alongside the in-house security team for both day-to-day needs and for special events, corporate events and additional escort shifts

(ii) Coverage of in-house security absences, both planned (annual leave) and unplanned (personal leave)

The term of any contractual arrangement arising from this RFT with the successful Tenderer, will be four (4) years with option to extend for four (4) periods of up to one (1) year at the absolute discretion of the Customer.
