Hydro Tasmania is seeking submissions from suitably qualified and experienced contractors to provide waste collection services to all Hydro Tasmania owned sites within Tasmania. This includes power stations (including Tamar Valley Power Station) and office facilities.

Waste streams may vary depending on site but are likely to include a combination of general waste (landfill), commingled recycling, paper, paper and cardboard, cardboard bales, organics, hydrocarbons, and fluorescent light tubes.

The frequency of collection will vary between sites and will range between daily, weekly, fortnightly, monthly and on an ad-hoc basis.
