Tender Description

This opportunity relates to the Ross Island Wind Energy (RIWE) system Project at Scott Base being undertaken by Antarctica New Zealand. The Project is a key component of the Scott Base Redevelopment programme.

We are seeking a Contractor with the skills, knowledge and experience required to successfully deliver the following:

  •  Decommissioning and placing into storage the three (3) existing 300kW Enercon turbines
  •  Installation and commissioning of (3) new wind turbines and associated equipment
  •  Training of Antarctica New Zealand staff in maintenance, operations and monitoring
  •  Complete annual servicing and maintenance.
