Tender Description
The New Zealand Institute of Bioeconomy Science Limited’s business unit the Ag Emissions Centre (‘AgEC’), formerly AgResearch Limited’s the New Zealand Agricultural Greenhouse Gas Research Centre, is funding an animal trial to understand the long-term impact of methane inhibitors on rumen processes (termed CH4IEF – Methane (CH4) Inhibition and Electron Flow).
AgEC is seeking an experienced Project Manager to support the multi-country science team, report and deliver the project on time, and within budget.
The Project Manager will provide vital support to the project team by engaging with funders, maintaining strong communication lines, ensuring timely and comprehensive reporting and documentation and managing critical coordination functions.
This is a unique and exciting opportunity to contribute to a groundbreaking animal trial exploring the long-term use of methane inhibitors in ruminants - uncovering their effects on native microbial communities and advancing the science behind methane production and its connection to animal productivity.
