Maitland City Council (MCC) invites you to respond to the Request for Tender (RfT) for 20242342 Maitland Resource Recovery Facility Security.

MCC owns and operates the Maitland Resource Recovery Facility (MRRF) which provides waste disposal and resource recovery services to the growing population of the Maitland Local Government Area (LGA).

The objective is to engage a suitably qualified service provider to deliver security services at the MRRF during non-operating hours. The services include the provision of onsite security personnel and vehicle from 4.00 pm to 7.00 am seven (7) days a week.

RFT Acknowledgement and Site Visit:

Respondents are requested to complete the RfT Acknowledgement Form refer document titled 02.20242342 Maitland Resource Recovery Facility Security Acknowledgement Form.docx and return via email to acknowledge your company will be submitting an RfT. This must be submitted no later than 12.00 noon DEST Monday 18 August 2025 to sarah.jackson@maitland.nsw.gov.au.

Respondents must also confirm attendance at the site visit by submitting the Acknowledgement Form and advising of the number and names of attendees. The site visit will take place at 10.00 am DEST Wednesday 20 August 2025 at the Maitland Resource Recovery Facility 109 Mount Vincent Road East Maitland NSW 2323.

PPE Requirements High visibility clothing or vest long clothing safety glasses and enclosed footwear.

Instructions to Populate Response Documentation:

Respondents must complete the questions contained in Request for Proposal Part 2 refer document titled 05.20242342 Maitland Resource Recovery Facility Security Request for Proposal Part 2.docx provided within the RfT pack.

Responses must be entered in the boxes provided and expanded as necessary. MCC prefers responses in each section be limited to less than 500 words. If attaching additional relevant documents include a reference to the attachment in the relevant section.

Responses must be submitted using an electronic copy of the original Word document do not PDF. All questions must be completed.

Pricing must be submitted using the Price File refer document titled 06.20242342 Maitland Resource Recovery Facility Security Price File.xlsx. Respondents are requested to provide an all-inclusive hourly rate for the provision of security services.

Respondent Questions:

All questions during the RfT process must be submitted in writing via the Online Forum. MCC will respond through the same channel to ensure consistent communication.

Lodgement of RFT:

The Respondents offer including all accompanying documentation must be submitted via the Portal refer document titled 04.20242342 Responding to an ERFx Notice.pdf and must be lodged prior to the close.
