Traffic Management Services – 2026 Santos Tour Down Under (Single or Multiyear Agreement)

Adelaide Hills Council invites experienced and qualified contractors to submit a tender for the provision of traffic management services for the 2026 Santos Tour Down Under cycling event.

The successful contractor will be required to:

• Develop, implement, and manage traffic management plans (TMPs) in compliance with South Australian legislation, standards, and guidelines.
• Provide all required accredited traffic management personnel, signage, vehicles, and equipment.
• Coordinate with Council, South Australian Police (SAPOL), Department for Infrastructure and Transport (DIT), and event organisers to ensure safe and efficient road closures, detours, and traffic flow.
• Ensure minimal disruption to residents, businesses, and emergency services while maintaining the safety of participants, spectators, and the public.
• Deliver services in accordance with agreed timelines for the event, including pre-event setup and post-event pack down.

The agreement may be offered as a single-year contract for the 2026 event or as a multiyear agreement covering future Santos Tour Down Under events hosted within the Adelaide Hills Council area.

This is a high-profile international cycling event, and the appointed contractor will be expected to demonstrate proven capability, flexibility, and professionalism in delivering traffic management services for major events.

Tenderers must hold all relevant accreditations, insurances, and licences required to undertake traffic management works in South Australia.
