Tender ID: 591997
Tender Details
Tender Description
Seeking interest from service providers
Scheduled to open in 2027, the Byford Health Hub ('the Hub') is an important infrastructure project for the local community, allowing people to access specialist health and community-based care closer to home.
To help inform future Hub services, East Metropolitan Health Service (EMHS) is seeking information from service providers who may be interested in delivering one or more of the following services as an occupant of the Byford Health Hub:
- Primary care
- Episodic urgent care; and/or
- Limited medical imaging (i.e. mobile X-ray and/or general ultrasound)
The Byford Health Hub will offer service providers an opportunity to utilise space within the Hub under an occupancy agreement such as a licence or lease. EMHS is seeking information from interested Respondents with the capability and resources to deliver services within the Hub, noting that:
- Clinical and financial governance will remain with service providers that occupy the Hub;
- EMHS will not be procuring/paying occupants for the delivery of services; and
- Patient accounts will be managed directly between service providers and consumers of the service.
About the Byford Health Hub
The Hub will provide a single-entry point for families and individuals in the Shire of Serpentine-Jarrahdale and surrounding region, with access to a range of primary care, community, social and specialist health services in one convenient location. It also provides a unique opportunity to shape a shared approach to integrating health and social services to positively impact the health and wellbeing of the community.
Service providers will include a mix of private and not-for-profit, in conjunction with a comprehensive range of on-site outpatient services provided by WA Health. EMHS is coordinating the program planning, development and commissioning, with input from clinicians, Traditional Owners and local community.
