Mackay Regional Council requires the Services of suitably experienced and equipped Contractor to conduct cleaning Services on constructed footpaths, levee bank structures, and boat ramps at various locations throughout the Mackay region.

Concrete and paved footpath areas require cleaning at various frequencies, ranging from weekly to six (6) monthly.

Regular cleaning of the concrete boat ramps is a necessity to ensure a safe and fully operational condition for all users, either monthly or bi-monthly depending on environmental factors.

Concrete blockwork levee walls within Mackay and the township of Finch Hatton must be inspected after a flood event, to determine if the walls require cleaning.

Cleaning shall be carried out on a routine basis in accordance with a maintenance programme, which is to be submitted to Council’s Representative for approval prior to the commencement of the Services.
