Tenders are invited from suitably qualified Contractors for the construction of approximately 2,350m of new footpath and the renewal of approximately 1,740m of existing footpath in Gatehouse Drive and Weston Hill Road Sorell, Carlton River Road Carlton, Carlton Beach Road Dodges Ferry and Carlton. The works include (but are not limited to) excavation, stormwater drainage works, supply, placement and compaction of base material, constructing kerb, pouring and finishing concrete, placing and compacting asphalt, and constructing retaining walls.

A pre-tender meeting is scheduled for 10:30am Wednesday 13 August 2025. Details can be obtained by contacting the enquiries below. Attendance at this meeting is not mandatory.

Tenders must be clearly marked “Confidential - Tender for C-26-T-011 Gatehouse Drive, C-26-T-016 Carlton River Road, C-26-T-012 Carlton Beach Road” and must be deposited into the Tender Box at the Sorell Council Office (47 Cole Street, Sorell) or received by mail prior to the closing date. Tenders will be accepted up until 2:00pm Wednesday 27 August 2025.

Neither the lowest nor any Tender will necessarily be accepted. Late Tender responses will not be considered.
