Tender Description

⁠⁠⁠The City of Cockburn (the Principal) is seeking WA licensed, experienced and reliable Electrical Contractor(s) to provide City Wide Maintenance, Repairs, Replacement, Testing and Design at the Principal’s buildings and properties; parks and reserves throughout the City of Cockburn. This includes various administration buildings, Cockburn ARC, the Port Coogee Marina, community centers, sports clubrooms, libraries, residential housing, toilet blocks, irrigation cabinets, lighting, barbeques etc.

Tenderers may apply for one, multiple or all of the following services:

1. Facilities Citywide - excluding Cockburn ARC (Schedule A).
2. Parks (Schedule B).
3. Cockburn ARC (Schedule C).

The work to be performed comprises the inspection, scheduled and reactive maintenance and reporting of electrical assets and equipment at nominated premises as documented in the following Schedules. The specific premises and the exact number of items of assets and equipment that comprise this Contract may change from time to time during the Contract Term. The work is to be carried out and reported on in accordance with applicable schedules and details contained within the specification.

The Contractors will be required to provide all labour, plant and equipment, materials, transport/cartage, supervision/administrative costs, surveying, travelling expenses etc. and anything else necessary to carry out the services required under any subsequent contract. Please note that electrical works undertaken within the Port Coogee Marina may include working in close proximity and/or above the ocean.

The proposed contract term for Schedule A - City Wide Facilities and Schedule C - Cockburn ARC shall be for an initial period of three (3) years from the date of commencement of the Contract, with Principal instigated options to extend the period for an additional one (1) year period; and for up to twelve (12) months after that, to a maximum of five (5) years.

The proposed contract term for Schedule B - Parks shall be for an initial period of one (1) year from the date of commencement of the Contract, with Principal instigated options to extend the period for an additional one (1) year period; and for up to three, twelve (12) months periods after that, to a maximum of five (5) years.
