Fraser Coast Regional Council is inviting offers from suitably qualified and experienced Tenderers for Hinkler Fibre Project & Library Relocation.

The offer is to deliver the following:

1. Supply and install Optic Fiber to New Community Hub Building in Pialba 2nd Link.

Outcomes:

• Supply conduit, pits and 72 fibres from New Pialba Building to Tavistock Walking track Cabinet.

• Repair any encountered issues with inground conduits on run path.

• Under bore and supply conduit/pits from Pialba Esp/Taylor St to Scarness park Existing communications pit.

• 72 fibre cable from New Community Hub Building (leave termination Loop in comms room).

• Terminate in Tavistock Cabinet on new FOBOT.

Deliverables:

• Supply and install new conduit From Pialba (Esp/Taylor St) to Scarness Park existing comms pit (in front of Jetty entry).

• Run 72 SM Optic Fiber cable from the New Community Hub Building Pialba communications room G floor to Tavistock Walking track Cabinet

• FOBOT at Tavistock Cabinet end.

• Terminate OF at Tavistock Cabinet end.

• Leave a Termination Loop in New Community Hub Building Pialba communications Room G floor

2. Supply and install Optic Fiber to New Community Hub Building in Pialba

Outcomes:

• Supply conduit, pits and 72 fibres from PCYC Walking track Cabinet to New Community Hub Building Pialba.

• Repair any encountered issues with inground conduits on run path.

• 72 fibre cable to New Community Hub Building in Pialba (leave termination Loop in comms room).

• Terminate in PCYC Cabinet on new FOBOT.

Deliverables:

• Run 72 SM Optic Fibre cable from the PCYC Walking track Cabinet to New Community Hub Building in Pialba communications Room G floor.

• FOBOT at PCYC Cabinet end.

• Terminate OF at PCYC Cabinet end.

• Leave a Termination Loop in New Community Hub Building Pialba communications room G floor.

3. Planning and Cutover of Hinkler Building Library Fibres

Scope of works:

• Fibres to be rehoused - 456 fibres in 11 Cables

• Install Standalone cabinet on Path intersection.

• Concrete pad with 2 x 100mm comms, 1 x 100mm power;
• Additional footing and comms conduit 50mm for CCTV Pole; and
• Comms connect back to the existing comms pit.

As the run has trafficable road some Traffic Control maybe needed. How much will depend on method used to install Conduit.

Conduits are existing in ground but may need some repair or pit replacement – Please assess as part of Tender.

Tender Briefing or Site Inspection

A Tender Briefing or Site Inspection is not mandatory for this tender.

The Principal does encourage Prospective Tenderers to attend as some sites being visited like the Community Hub currently which is currently under construction are not open to the general public.
