GKI Trail Signage - Fabrication, Supply, Delivery & Installation

Bounded by the Great Barrier Reef to the east and sandstone wilderness in the west, Livingstone Shire is located within the Fitzroy Region of Central Queensland and covers 11,800 square kilometres on the Capricorn Coast. The major urban townships of Yeppoon and Emu Park are where the majority of the population reside, our beautiful rural areas include Byfield, Cawarral, The Caves, Stanage, Marlborough, Glenlee and Glendale.

Council services a population of 40,000. Our major industries include retail, tourism, education and training, health care and social assistance, construction and agriculture.

Livingstone Shire Council (Council) invites tender submissions from suitably qualified contractors and manufacturers for the fabrication, supply, delivery, and installation of new trail signage across Great Keppel Island (Woppa), located off the central Queensland coast.

The trail signage package represents a critical phase of a broader island-wide wayfinding and interpretive signage program, which has been designed to improve visitor navigation, safety, and engagement with the island's natural and cultural environment.

This tender has been separated into two distinct portions:

• Separable Portion A – Fabrication, Supply and Delivery: This includes the complete fabrication of all trail signage items, footing design and engineering certification, and delivery to Council’s nominated depot at 50 Cordingley Street, Yeppoon.

• Separable Portion B – Installation: This includes the collection of fabricated signage from Council’s depot, transport and delivery to Great Keppel Island, and full installation of signage in line with the approved design documentation. The Portion B contractor will assume full responsibility for the signage from the time it departs the Council depot.

Tenderers may submit responses for Portion A, Portion B, or both. Each portion will be assessed independently; however, Council may consider submissions offering value across both portions.

The project scope includes the provision of competent, qualified contractors to undertake various related services for Livingstone Shire Council within the terms and conditions of the Contract.
