Tender Description

⁠⁠⁠On 20 February 2025, the deferral of the Hydrogen Jobs Plan (HJP) project was announced by the South Australian government, to secure the long-term future of the Whyalla Steelworks.

Following the announcement, the South Australian Government confirmed that the GE Vernova gas turbines purchased for the HJP Project would be on-sold for the original purchase price (or higher) with a guarantee that they will be installed in South Australia to provide additional dispatchable generation capacity and electricity retail market liquidity.
