The Parkes SAP development is an industrial area that is located on the outskirts of the western side of Parkes. The proposed gravity sewer line will run along the northern side of Hartigan Ave before crossing to the southern side of Hartigan Avenue and crossing under the active rail corridor. The gravity sewer line will continue east, crossing Forbes Road until reaching the proposed connection point to a manhole located along Austral St.

The primary objectives of the Western Sewer Augmentation project are to:

1. Construction of gravity sewer line to provide a sewer service to industrial development (SAP).

2. Work with Council staff to ensure the best outcome for the site and project.

3. Complete all works outlined in Scope of Works on time, within budget, and without incident.
