Tender Description
Tamworth Regional Council (TRC) have a variety of water pumping stations servicing water network in the Tamworth LGA. Regular inspection and condition monitoring of these pumping stations is required to maintain a reliable water network through the early identification of potential issues and allow for planned maintenance activities.
TRC is requesting tenders for routine vibration assessment for these pumping stations to assess the operating condition of the pumps and identify potential deterioration to inform the scheduled maintenance for these pumping stations. A list of pumping stations location and the details of pumps present are outlined in Appendix A.
This Scope of Works details the requirements for vibration testing of dry mounted centrifugal pumpsets and includes the vibration testing, analysis and reporting for the nominated pumpsets. Integration of reporting to be developed with TRC Asset Management System with contractor on award.
Contract period will be based on 3 year period with potential extension options available.
Scope of Works
The scope of work of the Contract includes:
• Prepare and submit a Safe Work Method Statement (SWMS) and testing procedure to the TRC for review
• Undertake any site inductions required by TRC
• Co-ordination with the TRC for site access and pump operation during site inspections.
• Travel to each site
• Provision of all materials, tools and software required for testing
• Undertake in-situ vibration testing of all pumps located in the listed pumping stations on a 3-month interval basis. Measurement, analysis and diagnostics of the pump vibration shall be in accordance with ISO 20816.
• Prepare and submit a report on the results of the vibration testing.
