Tender Description
- Mac / Apple IT support services
- Keeping the Operating System up-to-date
- Application Whitelisting Solution
- Installing, licensing and updating the following applications & drivers:
- Adobe Suite (RAM would need to provide installers)
- Barcode Reader
- Cortex XDR (RAM would need to provide installers)
- Wacom Drivers
- Microsoft 365 suite (RAM would need to provide installers)
- Microsoft Edge (RAM would need to provide installers)
- Webex (RAM would need to provide installers)
- SpyderExpress (colour correction software for the monitors)
- Fuji Printer Drivers
- Titus plug-in for Outlook
- Clickshare
- Citrix Workspace \ Remote Work Capability
- Uninstall ‘bloat’ software from the Macs (Siri, Safari, Stocks, Maps etc)
- Others as required by GD once approved by IT
- Maintaining and building Mac Hardware (including peripherals)
- Importing and updating certificates into the Keychain (mimesweeper, tungsten root CA)
- Ensuring the devices use the Mail and Web Gateways
- Ensuring devices are in Active Directory on the ramint.gov.au domain
- Connected to all required network shares and drives hosted on the ramint.gov.au domain
- Non-administrative users are unable to install software or make changes to the configuration of the device
- Administers of the ramint.gov.au domain are able to administer the Mac devices (A local Admin account is being used currently)
- Setting a Firmware password (BIOS password)
- Assistance with Fonts and installing them on each device
- Filevault enabled with decrypt keys saved in the Active Directory Object (if possible)
- Disable iCloud accounts
- Ability to apply MS Group Policy to the Macs (if possible)
- Creating end-user guides and documentation specific as well as technical guides to assist with the above
- As well as Incident support for Mac’s weekdays between 8am – 5pm (or the Service Desk open hours)
- The staff members assisting with require Negative Vetting 1 Clearances and to undergo an ASIC policy check and provide a Safe Work Statement for being onsite at the Mint
The current Mint environment is 2 x MacBooks and 4 x iMacs for a total of 6 users and devices.
