Tender Description
The KiwiBuild Underwrite team, within Kāinga Ora - Homes and Communities, is part of a broader Government initiative to facilitate the delivery of affordable homes in New Zealand.
We are inviting Registrations from experienced residential developers who have the capacity to deliver new and affordable homes in areas of demand, from infill residential, through to large-scale greenfield projects.
The KiwiBuild underwrite provides a guaranteed back-stop purchase option for all completed but unsold, contracted KiwiBuild homes. The Crown’s back-stop commitment underpins lending interest, enabling developments to be built at scale and pace.
This is an exciting opportunity to partner with the Government on a commercial basis to facilitate the supply of affordable homes for eligible KiwiBuild buyers.
