Proposed Lift

Man & Materials lift, 400kg capacity, 1.04 x 0.78 m car size, 1 car entry door (B side)

Lift Removal

Remove the existing lift, mast and mast supports, including all electrical cabling and components to the Vendor supplied distribution board.

Lift Interface

1. Complete site investigations, design and drafting for structural modifications to SUL1 to allow installation of a new lift, including:

a) Inspect the condition of the existing lift supports on SUL1.

b) Align the lift in relation to the existing structure with consideration shall be given to:

•  Minimise platform modifications
•  Minimise downtime on SUL1 for implementation of any structural modifications.

c) Design structural connections for lift mast tie points at 3 locations. Requires interfacing with Alimak to obtain lift loads at supports on SUL1.

d) Design base frame to support lift mast and buffers.

e) Design landing door support frame and guarding at existing platforms on 3 levels.

f) Design lift maintenance access platform(s) as required

g) Provide all design calculations and drawings certified by an RPEQ

2. Supply, fabricate and install lift supports, landing door frames/guarding and maintenance platform(s) detailed in Items 1a), 1b) and 1c) above.

3. Provide all QA documentation

Lift Procurement and Installation

1. Procure lift, designed, manufactured and factory tested to meet RTAY’s specifications. Includes interfacing with lift supplier to ensure support spacings are suitable.

2. Package and transport lift to the RTAY wharf

3. Install and commission the lift utilising the Vendor for technical support and certification

4. Supply all Vendor installation, operating and maintenance requirements

5. Provide all QA documentation
