Tender Details
Tender Description
The Council of the City of Sydney ("the City") invites Requests for Tender to supply, install and manage audio-visual (AV) equipment in accordance with this request.
Background
The 'City Life' division provides community centres and unstaffed community venues for hire for activities such as fitness classes, dance classes, self-help groups, seniors' events, conferences, parties and other functions. Many bookings request the use of audio-visual equipment, however these venues either have no audio-visual equipment or what they have is obsolete or not working. To address this requirement, a project has been initiated to provide a standardised audio-visual solution in 40 rooms for hire across 27 locations.
Project Overview
The objective of the City Life AV project (Project) is to implement audio-visual capabilities in the nominated locations, inclusive of:
- Design - develop and document the overarching AV solution design and a specific design for each room in accordance with the overarching solution design.
- Supply - supply all required components including projectors, projector screens, displays, speakers, microphone systems, cameras, amplifiers, digital signal processors, AV switchers, control panels, equipment housings, mounting hardware and necessary cabling.
- Installation - install AV equipment in the nominated rooms, test and commission.
- Integration - integrate the AV equipment with the hearing augmentation system and the fire trip (both provided by the City).
- Training - Provide user guides and train City staff to operate the system.
- Management and support - Provide phone support to assist City staff and the community members who hire the venues. Manage and maintain all equipment.
Tenderers must submit tenders in the manner required by this document.
